Shlomo Bistritzky is the Chief Financial Officer of Wasa Properties. Mr. Bistritzky leads the finance and accounting departments and steers the financial activities of the Company, with a focus on managing risk and monitoring cash flow. His responsibilities include financial forecasting, accounting, financial reporting and financial due diligence and integration of the Company’s growing portfolio. Mr. Bistritzky is one of the founding partners of Wasa Properties and is a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. With over 23 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has been involved in more than $750 million worth of real estate projects. Mr. Bistritzky has been a member of International Council of Shopping Centers since 2001.
David Dombroff is the Senior Vice President at Wasa Properties. Mr. Dombroff manages all facets of the Company’s day-to-day operations, including asset management, construction, acquisitions and dispositions, and debt placement. Mr. Dombroff began his real estate career at The Puddingstone Group sourcing land acquisitions in Northern New Jersey for retail development with national tenancy. Mr. Dombroff has over 15 years of experience in the shopping center industry and has been a member of International Council of Shopping Centers since 2004.
Eric Li is a Senior Associate at Wasa Properties and assists in development, asset management, acquisitions and dispositions, and investment analysis at the Company. Mr. Li also focuses on construction management and job costing for all ongoing development sites. Mr. Li joined Wasa Properties in 2016 as a Real Estate Analyst. Prior to joining Wasa Properties, Mr. Li was part of a multi-family development firm based out of Brooklyn where he was responsible for underwriting, market research, and investor relations. Mr. Li holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration: Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Alan Langer is Corporate Counsel at Wasa Properties. Mr. Langer is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Company’s day-to-day legal activities and assists with the asset management, acquisitions and dispositions and investment analysis of the Company’s portfolio. Prior to joining the Company in April 2021, Mr. Langer was an associate for two and a half years in the New York office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. as a member of the Corporate and Securities group, where he represented issuers and underwriters on a broad range of corporate transactions, including debt and equity offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, Mr. Langer spent approximately 5 years as a member of the Public Company Advisory Practice (PCAP) at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he focused on providing corporate and securities advice to the firm’s clients, including Blackstone and KKR. Mr. Langer graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 2013 and is a licensed real estate and insurance broker.
Atithi Vora is the Director of Accounting at Wasa Properties. Ms. Vora is responsible for property level accounting of the Company’s portfolio, including receivables, collections, payables, CTI reconciliations, budgeting, financial reporting, and lease accounting. Ms. Vora brings over 7 years of experience in financial accounting from her role as Director of Accounting at Duscany Financial Group and Dealmed Medical Supplies. Previously, Ms. Vora served as the in-house accountant at Big Apple Art Gallery. As a former teacher of individual and business taxes at CUNY York college, Ms. Vora developed an extensive knowledge and understanding of taxes and the current tax laws. Ms. Vora graduated from Brooklyn College’s Murray Koppelman School of Business in 2014 and holds a BBA in accounting.
Jacob Fireworker is the Controller at Wasa Properties. Mr. Fireworker is responsible for the financial and record keeping segments of the Company. Mr. Fireworker is a CPA with veteran experience having run Audits for PricewaterhouseCoopers largest client, and previously served as controller for one of the nations largest private landlords. Mr. Fireworker holds accreditation from the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is an advisory member of the NYSSCPA Chief Financial Officers & Real Estate committees.
